Three easy steps to select your Dock Plates/Dock Boards
STEP 1. Compute height differential:
Measure height differences of truck floor levels above and below your Dock level as shown. The greatest mm of difference is the height differential dimension.
STEP 2. Select dock plate/dock board widths:
Minimum 305mm wider than equipment.
General width recommendations:
Handtrucks 2-wheel: 915mm
Platform trucks 4-wheel: 1220mm
Pallet trucks: 1220mm
Fork trucks (minimum): 1525mm
STEP 3. Determine maximum axle load. For 2-wheel trucks use 100% of gross weight. For 4-wheel platform trucks use 100% of gross weight. For pallet trucks use 100% of gross weight. For counter-balanced fork trucks use 100% of gross weight. Select model to suit your requirements from specifications list.
